OTTUMWA — Ottumwa Regional Health Center (ORHC) will host its 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, October 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s front parking lot at 1001 Pennsylvania Avenue in Ottumwa. The community is invited to join ORHC for an afternoon focused on breast cancer awareness, support and connection.
The free, family-friendly event will include live music by Chris Novak featuring Brad Barnes on drums, activities for children, a bounce house with a slide, drawings and prizes, and opportunities for community members and ORHC staff to participate in a breast cancer-themed pumpkin decorating contest. Two food trucks will be onsite with food available for purchase, and a portion of food truck sales will be donated to support breast cancer treatment.
