OTTUMWA CHOOSES TWO CITY ADMINISTRATOR FINALISTS

Ottumwa chooses two city administrator finalists

The City of Ottumwa has announced the two finalists for the vacant City Administrator position.  They are Joseph Gaa, the current city administrator in Dickinson, North Dakota and Phillip Rath, the former city administrator in Monroe, Wisconsin.  The job has been vacant since Andy Morris resigned last August and Ottumwa Mayor Tom Lazio has been interim city administrator.  Gaa and Rath will be interviewed on Saturday, January 25, with the City Council to make its choice following the interviews. There will also be a chance for the public to meet the two city administrator candidates Friday, January 24 at 6:30pm at Bridge View Center.
