On Saturday, June 18th, at approximately 12:31 a.m., Oskaloosa Police were dispatched to Mahaska Health Partnership in reference to a male patient with a stab wound to the shoulder. Upon Officers arrival, the patient was identified as Austin Anderson, age 28 of Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Mr. Anderson reported he was walking in the 500 to 600 block of South D Street when he had a confrontation with another male who then stabbed him in the shoulder.

Mr. Anderson was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8” with bushy hair and wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
