KNOXVILLE – An Oskaloosa man was convicted of enticing a minor this week by a jury in Marion County.

51-year-old Jason Burt Glasgow was convicted of a Class D felony charge of Enticing a Minor Under 16 for a Sexual Purpose on Tuesday. Additional charges related to possession of psilocybin mushrooms and possession of marijuana were dismissed.

Court documents state that in October 2024, Glasgow was engaged in online communications with an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a 15-year-old girl. He allegedly arranged a meeting with her and agreed to perform sex acts. Glasgow traveled to Knoxville for the meeting, but was arrested by authorities.

Glasgow’s sentencing is scheduled for December 3.
