Oskaloosa Fire Department Puts Out Fire At Pizza Hut

The Oskaloosa Fire Department responded to a fire early Thursday morning. Around 1:30 AM, 14 fire fighters worked to put out a fire at the Oskaloosa Pizza Hut.
Fire fighters fought the blaze for an hour a half. Fire Chief Mark Neff stated that the fire started in an office in the rear of the building. It is estimated that there was $125,000 in damage to the business.
No injuries were reported.
The Oskaloosa Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Mahaska Health Partnership Ambulance Crew, the Mahaska County Sheriff’s department, the Oskaloosa Poilice Department, and the Iowa DOT.
