The Oskaloosa city council will be hosting their next regular meeting tonight. On the agenda is the recognition of local first responders who received the American Heart Association Heart Saver Hero Award for a call that took place on June 2, 2026. The council will also consider the purchase of a truck and related equipment by the Parks Department for general park maintenance, and they will consider a grant application to the Empower Rural Iowa Rural Innovation Housing 2.0 program, which city staff says could help fund a citywide housing and neighborhood action package.

Tonight’s meeting will begin at 6:00 PM in the Oskaloosa city hall council chambers.
