The Oskaloosa City Council has a busy meeting Tuesday night (2/18). The Council will hold a public hearing on a property tax increase. The proposal calls for a 2.31 percent increase. The Council will also vote on plans for replacing curbs and gutters on South 6th Street between 1st Avenue East and 2nd Avenue East. Then the Council will go into closed session to consider approving tentative agreements between the City and the unions representing police and firefighters.
