The Oskaloosa city council met last night and recognized the retirement of long time police officer Gary Kutcher. Kutcher has served the Oskaloosa Police Department for 33 years, the last five of which were mostly as a school resource officer with Oskaloosa Community Schools. We asked officer Kutcher what it felt like to finally submit those retirement papers.

The Oskaloosa Police Department is hosting a public gathering in the basement of the Law Center this Friday from 2-4pm to thank officer Kutcher and welcome the public to stop by.
