Nothing was beneath Lainey Wilson when she was starting out.  She’d even consider performing at the DMV.

Lainey was on “The Tonight Show” this week, and Jimmy Fallon said he’s heard stories that, in the early days, she’d perform in the aisles of Walmart.  She didn’t confirm or deny that, but she said:

“I’d play anywhere they would let me play.  I’m talking about nursing homes, flatbed trailers . . . my parents would be like, ‘Hey Lainey, sing that song you just wrote last week’ for anybody.  And I’d just do it.”
