Saturday night (6/6) was opening night at the Knoxville Raceway.  In the 410 class, Brian Brown took the checkered flag in the main event.  For Brown, it was career win number 50, tying him with Sammy Swindell for fifth place in the track’s history.  In the 360 class, Jamie Ball of Knoxville had the best time in time trials and went on to finish third in the main event behind defending champion Carson McCarl.  And in the Pro Series class, Mike Mayberry of Fremont took first in the hot laps, then finished ninth in the 15 lap main event.  Russ Hall of Pleasant Hill finished first in that race.
