Jelly Roll is teaming up with the Grand Ole Opry for two benefit shows for charities near and dear to his heart. The singer will be playing two shows on September 22 at the Opry to raise money to benefit the Judge Dinkins Educational Center and the Buddy DeFord Charitable Fund. The Buddy DeFord Charitable Fund was started by Jelly to honor his late father and to support nonprofits serving the community. The Judge Dinkins Educational Center was created by the prosecutor who charged Jelly for crimes when he was a kid, Judge Jim Todd. Ever since, they’ve worked side-by-side to provide resources that enable youth to change their lives for the better. Appearing with Jelly Roll will be Bailey Zimmerman and Graham Barham. Tickets are already on sale on the Grand Ole Opry website.
