With Iowa’s primary election coming up June 2, Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate says poll workers will be needed.

“It’s a paid position when you help out as a poll worker.  It’s also a great way to return something to your community.  We’re appealing to some of our veterans, our teachers, our community activists, anyone who feels they can commit that one day to it.  We really need your help to make sure we can offer the safest and best voting environment we can.”
