Indians slay Demons in 10 innings

The Oskaloosa Indians baseball team ended the regular season with a bang Monday night (7/15).  Tyler Miller’s home run in the tenth inning gave the Indians a 3-2 victory at Washington.  Noah Van Veldhuizen also went deep for the Indians.  Five Oskaloosa pitchers held Washington to just one hit, but they also combined to walk nine batters.  Colton Butler got the victory; Rian Yates saved it.  Oskaloosa improves to 21-10 on the season.  They’ll open the Class 3A playoffs Friday night (7/19) with a home game against Nevada.
