If you shop at Hy-Vee, you could be tempted by a coupon making the rounds on social media—but it’s a scam.  The coupon is supposedly good for $80 of free groceries at Hy-Vee.  Kevin Rausch with the Oskaloosa Hy-Vee store says the coupon is fake.

“We have heard about this and we are making sure that everybody does know that this is a fake coupon. It was made up by somebody else.  We did not put this out at all for anybody to try and promote anything. It is a scam going around. I believe they’re just trying to get extra information or maybe get into some Facebook accounts, but this was not authorized by Hy-Vee whatsoever on that.”

There’s no word on who created the fake coupon site and what it’s being used for.
