During a recent Facebook Live chat, Garth Brooks hinted that a portion of his new live album would be recorded at his concert series in Lafayette, Louisiana, and he seemed to confirm that news over the weekend. According to KATC-TV, Garth told the crowd about the live album taping during his Sunday night (6/25) show at Lafayette’s Cajundome, although no formal announcement has been made. If Garth is indeed recording a new live album, it would be his second following 1998’s Double Live.
- The publication also reports that officials with the Cajundome have confirmed the taping.
- Brooks will return to the Cajundome tonight (6/30) and tomorrow (7/1), but it’s unclear if he’ll be taping the live album at these shows as well.
