If you have sensitive outdoor plants, take note.  A Frost Advisory will be in effect starting at 1am Friday (10/22) until 9am for Mahaska, Marion, Jasper and Poweshiek Counties in the No Coast Network listening area. Overnight low temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees, which is when frost can occur.  And frost can kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if the plants are left uncovered.
