FOUR ARRESTED IN HEDRICK DRUG BUST

Four arrested in Hedrick drug bust

Four people from Hedrick have been arrested on drug charges.  Keokuk County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force executed a search warrant September 25 at an apartment in the 100 block of North Main in Hedrick.  Law enforcement seized packaged THC products, marijuana, scales, packaging materials, rifles, a shotgun and a handgun with the serial number filed off.  21-year-old Scott Strom and 20-year-old Cheyenne Deutschle, who live at the apartment, have been charged with conspiracy to deliver less than 50 kilos of marijuana and failure to have a drug tax stamp.  While 18-year-old Derrik Strom and 20-year-old Jacob Keith, both of Hedrick, were both charged with possessing a controlled substance.  All four have been released on bond.
