FOSTER SIDELINED; INDIANS BOYS LOSE

Foster sidelined; Indians boys lose

Oskaloosa Indians center Xavier Foster will be sidelined for a week with a concussion.  He was injured in the third quarter of Monday night’s (1/13) game at Pella.

So Foster was not in uniform Tuesday night (1/14) when Oskaloosa hosted Indianola.  Indianola scored the final five points of the first half to take a 31-26 halftime lead and kept control in the second half, going on to a 69-47 victory.
Senior Iszak Schultz scored a career high 21 points for Oskaloosa, as the Indians boys have now lost three in a row and have a 4-6 overall record and 0-6 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
Oskaloosa’s next game will be Thursday night (1/16) at Pella Christian.  That game was originally scheduled for Friday (1/17), but a forecast of heavy snow led school officials to move the game up a day.  You can hear the Indians and Eagles on KBOE-FM Thursday night.
