Dolly Parton‘s life story set to music, the stage production “Dolly: An Original Musical,” will have its world premiere in Nashville this summer, before making its way to Broadway in 2026. The autobiographical play will have a limited four-week engagement at Belmont University, at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. The first preview performance is July 18, with the official opening night set for August 8; the show is scheduled to have its last night in Nashville August 17.
