CUP TEAM PENALIZED

Cup Team Penalized

Premium Motorsports, which competes in the Sprint Cup Series, has been penalized by NASCAR after an unattached weight fell from Timmy Hill’s Number-98 Ford during practice six days ago at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Crew chief Scott Eggleston was fined  twenty-five thousand dollars. He and car chief Kevin Eagle have been suspended from Sunday’s Windows Ten 400 at Pocono Raceway and placed on probation through December 31st. Car owner Mike Curb has been docked fifteen championship points. Hill finished forty-first among forty-three drivers in last Sunday’s Brickyard 400.
