The assumption by your average person on the street is that, for the most part, celebrities get a slap on the wrist for their misdeeds while most people face a harsher penalty. That idea may get turned on its ear in the case of Morgan Wallen. Wallen’s infamous chair-throwing incident earlier this year is nearing its legal conclusion, and there are reports Wallen may actually end up behind bars. According to “Life & Style Magazine,” who cited an “inside source,” attorneys for Morgan have been trying to negotiate a plea deal that would give the singer probation, but it’s looking increasingly possible Wallen spends 30-60 days in jail, in part because prosecutors don’t want to feed into the perception that celebs get off easy. Morgan’s next court appearance is December 12.
