CARRIE UNDERWOOD PROUD OF USA OLYMPIC ATHLETES

Carrie Underwood Proud Of USA Olympic Athletes

Carrie Underwood, whose song “The Champions” is being used as part of NBC’s Olympic coverage, is certainly watching and cheering on all our athletes.

The singer says all the athletes are great role models, noting, “it’s absolutely impossible to pick one.” Carrie says Olympians are the true definition of role models, because they “work so hard and for so long” for their goal, which is to represent the U.S.

“I think no matter where you’re from or what you’re into, you can watch the Olympics and just find someone to cheer for,” she says. “(We) can be proud that they are the ones out there that are representing us.”
