Monday night (12/2) is the first night that boys’ high school basketball teams in Iowa can play games.  There are two boys and girls doubleheaders on tap: Grinnell at South Tama and Tri-County at Moravia.  There are also two girls’ only matchups Monday: Ottumwa hosts Mount Pleasant and Twin Cedars hosts Pleasantville.

On Tuesday night (12/3), Oskaloosa’s boys open their season at Fairfield and the Indians’ girls will also play at Fairfield.  KBOE-FM’s live coverage of Oskaloosa basketball starts at 6 with the girls’ game at 6:15 and the boys’ game around 7:45.

We’ll also have Sigourney boys and girls basketball Tuesday night as the Savages open their seasons against Tri-County.  Coverage on KMZN AM & FM will start at 5:45 with the girls game at 6 and the boys game around 7:30.
