Former Vice President Joe Biden unveiled a plan Monday (11/11) to support veterans and their families.  Speaking at a veterans’ town hall in Oskaloosa, the Democratic Presidential candidate says he wants to keep the VA as the top outlet for veterans to get the best possible quality of care.

“The VA has more specialized knowledge about the kinds of health problems that veterans have from needing prostheses to mental and physical concerns that are, in fact, unique to having served in the military.  We have a responsibility, in my view, to insure that we’re providing veterans with world class health care…the world class health care they deserve.”

Following his appearance in Oskaloosa, Biden took part in a CNN Town Hall at Grinnell College.
