Congratulations to Zac Brown and Kendra Scott…the couple are engaged! The singer and the jewelry designer hard-launched their relationship at the American Music Awards in May. The couple told “People” magazine, “We are so happy and grateful that we found each other.” When they do eventually tie the knot, their blended family will be huge: they are each parents, and between them have eight children ranging in age from 11 to 23

Post Malone has scored a legal victory in his child custody case with ex-GF Hee Sung “Jamie” Park. Park has dropped a court petition that sought to move their three-year-old daughter from Utah to California against the singer’s wishes. According to “Billboard,” Park had been seeking to take primary custody of the child in Los Angeles, where she moved after splitting from Malone last fall. Posty, however, brought his own custody case in Utah, where he says their daughter has lived most of her life and should remain. The Cailifornia case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it can’t be re-filed. Still, the two will continue to litigate their custody battle in Utah, though court records there are sealed.

Willie Nelson‘s music career has lasted for 70 years. His first recording was made in 1955, and since then he has recorded over 100 studio albums. That incredible body of work will be the subject of a new book. “Willie Nelson – All The Albums: The Stories Behind the Music” by music journalist Geoffrey Himes will offer an album-by-album analysis of Willie’s discography. The book will be available October 7.

Fans were pretty hyped with Eric Church climbed on stage unexpectedly at his “Chief’s” bar this past weekend and joined the band for a performance of “Springsteen.” One problem: it wasn’t Eric Church. While Church has been known to occasionally surprise patrons of his bar by doing pop-ins, this time out, it was Cody Martin, the singer for an Eric Church tribute group called Take Me to Church. The band had played earlier in the night, but when Martin took the stage again, he sold it and fans bought it, taking out their phones to record the moment “Eric Church” played his bar. See if you’d have been taken in by the imposter.

Country musicians continue to give their time and their efforts towards helping Texas flood victims. The July 4th weekend Texas floods have taken 130 lives, with over 100 people still missing weeks later.  Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum have organized a benefit concert, “Band Together Texas,” to raise money for flood relief efforts. It’s certainly jam-packed with huge names: along with Lambert and McCollum, the benefit will feature performers Kelly Clarkson, Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, Lyle Lovett, Randy Rodgers Band and more. Non-musicians who will appear include Matthew McConaughey, Denis Quaid, Roger Clemens and others. The concert will take place on Sunday, August 17th at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tickets will be made available at BandTogetherTexas.com. Presale starts Wednesday, July 23rd at 10am CT. Any remaining tickets will be available at general on sale beginning on Friday, July 25th at 10AM Central Time.
