New “At Home With Farm Aid” Special Airing Saturday

A new Farm Aid concert is set to air Saturday night on AXS TV. “At Home with Farm Aid,” will feature performances by the organizations board members, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews, and like the title suggests, they’ll all be performing from their homes.

The special will air at 8 pm and be hosted by Willie and his sons Lukas and Micah Nelson. Like other Farm Aids, the program will benefit family farmers.

“The coronavirus has disrupted our entire country and is a grave threat to all of us,” Willie shares. “One of its many impacts is that it has helped us to better see the value of essential people like healthcare workers, grocery store clerks, delivery truck drivers, and farmers and ranchers.”

He adds, “Farm Aid has worked for 35 years to build a family farm centered agricultural system, and we are here now to support farmers and ranchers in this crisis, without whom we could not eat. The time to build a resilient family farm food system is now.”

ONE MORE THING: AXS TV will also air “The Best of Farm Aid 2019″ on Sunday, featuring two-hours of highlights from last year’s concert.

Keith Urban & Family Having “Vibrant” Time In Self-Isolation

Keith Urban, wife Nicole Kidman and their two daughters are practicing self-isolation like the rest of us and he tells “Entertainment Tonight” things are going okay so far.

“It’s early days, still, in a lot of ways, but it’s been a very vibrant house,” Keith shared, noting they’ve been playing “a lot of games,” and there’s been “a lot of music around the piano, dancing, and getting out in our backyard.”

Keith has performed two live stream concerts for fans, and he feels lucky to be able to connect with fans that way.

“I love that we get to do it and that there’s a way to do it. That there’s a way to not only stay connected with everybody, but to keep being creative,” he explained. “Because that’s what we do, we create. And if we can’t do it on stage, in front of a live audience, we’ll figure out how to do it in our bedrooms or out garages or attics… and keeping coming up with ways to connect.”
