Rumors continue to swirl about an impending marriage between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, with the latest claiming they are planning to wed sometime this summer.

A source tells “Us Weekly” that the pair is “keen to make it happen as soon as possible,” but they are concerned about everyone staying safe thanks to the coronavirus. The insider notes that the pair is hoping to go “all out” for their summer wedding, although “it won’t be the end of the world if they have to move things back till the fall.”

As for where it may be, the source claims they are planning to say “I Do” twice, once in Los Angeles, and again on Blake’s Oklahoma ranch. The source shares, “Oklahoma gives the couple more privacy and the possibilities are endless for a wedding reception people will talk about for years.”

As we told you, Kenny Chesney just landed his record-extending 31st number one single with “Here and Now,” and now he’s set his sights on his next one. The singer just announced that “Happy Does” will be the next single from his latest album “Here and Now.”

“#hereandnow did such a great job reminding us how good living in the moment can be, it felt like the only song that could follow it as the next single was #happydoes,” Kenny shares. “With all this unknown, it feels like the song we all need this summer. The melody feels good, and the track makes you smile!”

He adds, “Right now I think we can all use something to lift us up.”

Apparently Carrie Underwood has a celebrity doppelganger, and she’s perfectly okay with it.

Over the weekend, Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon tweeted that she was actually mistaken for the country star, sharing, “To the woman in the parking lot who just asked me if I was Carrie Underwood : You officially made my day ! ????”

Well, it seems Reese’s day wasn’t the only one that was made. Carrie responded to Reese’s tweet with, “YOUR day?!?!?!?! That lady just made my whole life! ❤️❤️❤️.”

As we get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July this weekend, Carrie shares that one of her favorite memories growing up was going to the fireworks stand at age seven or eight to pick out fireworks for the holiday. “Of course I couldn’t wait until it was dark outside,” she shares. “I made my Mom and Dad get the lawn chairs and come out to the backyard and watch some not very dramatic fireworks at like six o’clock in the evening, but I was so proud of myself, and I was so proud of the show that I put on.”

Garth Brooks’ “Encore Live Presents Garth Brooks: A Drive-In Concert Experience” took place this weekend, and it looks like reaction was a bit mixed.

It seems some attendees didn’t quite understand that they’d be watching a pre-taped concert, with folks taking to social media to say they thought they’d be watching a live concert in real time. Others were unhappy that the concert movie was only a little over an hour, and they had to sit through 30 minutes of video from an artist named Randall King before it even started.

One writer who attended the drive-in concert said it didn’t come close to replicating a real-life concert experience, and for $100 per car, it was a pretty steep price to pay for basically a concert film. The writer also noted that the movie seemed “too perfect,” since it was sleekly edited, and also mentioned that the audio experience was at best “OK, and in some cases “awful.”

As for the concert itself, Garth performed 18 songs, including hits like “The Dance,” “Friends in Low Places,” “The Thunder Rolls,” his cover of Billy Joel’s “Shameless,” “Callin’ Baton Rouge” and more.

A recent op-ed suggested the Dixie Chicks should change their name considering some think the word “Dixie” has racist undertones. Well, they apparently were listening because they did just that.

The trio, Natalie Maines, Emily Strayer, and Martie Maguire, announced that from now on they will officially be known as The Chicks, simply stating on their website, “We want to meet this moment.”

And unlike Lady A, who found that there was another artist using that name, The Chicks covered all their bases, with their rep later adding, “A sincere and heartfelt thank you goes out to ‘The Chicks’ of NZ for their gracious gesture in allowing us to share their name,” adding, “We are honored to co-exist together in the world with these exceptionally talented sisters. Chicks Rock! — Emily, Natalie and Martie”
