Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood & More Set For CNN Fourth Of July Special

CNN is celebrating the Fourth of July this weekend with a special that includes performances by Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus and more.

“The Fourth In America” special, kicking off at 7 pm on Sunday, will be hosted by CNN anchors Dana Bash and Don Lemon and Victor Blackwell and Ana Cabrera, and will include fireworks from across America.

Other performers confirmed for the special include: The Beach Boys with John Stamos, Bebe Rexha,  Black Eyed Peas, Blues Traveler, Chicago, Flo Rida, Kool and the Gang, Nelly, Susanna Hoffs, Tasha Cobbs LeonardForeigner, REO Speedwagon, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, and more.

Trace Adkins Dropping Guest-Filled New Album

Trace Adkins is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut album “Dreamin’ Out Loud” with a brand new record. Trace is set to drop the double album, “The Way I Wanna Go,” on August 27th, with 25 new songs in honor of the anniversary.

The album is Trace’s 13th studio album, and features a whole host of guests, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Pitbull, Melissa Etheridge, Keb’ Mo’, Snoop Dogg, and Stevie Wonder.

“I don’t know where my place is gonna be when the history of what I did is written,” Trace says of his career. “But 90 percent of the time, I said what I wanted to say and stuck to my guns and did what I wanted to do… And, this album is as good as anything I’ve ever done.”

Trace has already released the first single from the record, “Where The Country Girls At,” featuring Luke and Pitbull. You can check out the track list here.

Previously Unreleased Live Johnny Cash Album Coming In September

A previously unreleased live Johnny Cash album is coming this fall. “Bear’s Sonic Journals: Johnny Cash, at the Carousel Ballroom, April 24 1968” was recorded in San Francisco by Owsley “Bear” Stanley, the Grateful Dead’s legendary concert documentarian.

The album features a 28-song concert, including two Bob Dylan covers “Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright,” and “One Too Many Mornings.” Johnny is backed by wife June Carter, and by his legendary band the Tennessee Three for the concert, which was recorded just days before the release of Cash’s “At Folsom Prison” album.

The album will be available digitally and on CD and double-LP, and will include new essays by Johnny and June’s son John Carter Cash, as well as Stanley’s son Starfinder Stanley, the Dead’s Bob Weir, and Widespread Panic’s Dave Schools.

Luke Bryan Shares Trailer For Upcoming Docuseries

Luke Bryan will be the subject of a new IMDB TV docuseries, “Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary,” and now the first trailer for the series is out. The trailer features interviews from Luke, his wife Caroline and mother LeClair, and also includes concert footage and home movies.

“The devotion and support of my fans are the reason I have made it this far in my career,” Luke shares. “Life can be tough, and the past 15 months have been very difficult for everyone. I hope in sharing this raw look into my life that it may be an encouragement to others. Through the heartaches, triumphs can come.”
