Kacey Musgraves has a new plaque to add to her awards shelf. Her debut single “Merry Go Round,” has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The song was on the 2012 album “Same Trailer Different Park” and at the time she shared “I think we all kind of grow up with expectations of breaking the cycle of life as we know it, trying to appear as if all is perfect under the surface.”

A lot has changed since Kacey’s debut. Her latest project is contributing “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” to the “Elvis” soundtrack.

Shania Twain’s Neflix documentary “Not Just A Girl” debuted yesterday, and she’s shared with fans what it was like to film it.

“Filming a documentary about myself was pretty surreal and even more so during a pandemic!,” she shares on social media. “We started this whole thing in 2020 and did a lot of interviews and prep stuff over zoom…while trying to film as much as we could during the moments when the world opened up a little more and people were able to travel.”

She adds, “All of that has resulted in Not Just A Girl… I hope you enjoy watching it.”

In addition to the doc release, Shania also digitally dropped the companion album, featuring “a collection of all the songs in the documentary,” as well as one brand new song, the title track.

Luke Combs made a dream come true this weekend for a 17-year-old battling cancer. The singer flew out the teen, Addison, who is undergoing treatment for acute myeloid leukemia, to his sold-out show in Columbus, Ohio

“You see our girl has a bucket list of all the things she wants to do and see,” Addison’s mother, Staci Conely shared on Facebook. “One of her wishes was to meet and go to a Luke Combs concert, where he would sing her favorite song.”

Well, word got to Luke’s people and he flew out Addi and several members of Addi’s family, and he met and chatted with her. “He gave so much love as we listened and cried with their stories they were exchanging,” her mom shared. “This moment made time stand still. She was genuinely happy and so blown away by his kindness, honestly we all were.”

And that’s not all, he put the family up in a suite including food and drinks, and allowed Addi to stand side stage for the encore, bringing her out to serenade her with her favorite song “Better Together.”

“This is my friend Addi that I met today, and Addi’s going through some health things at the moment, and I came across her on social media,” Luke told the audience. “Addi’s favorite song is ’Better Together.’ So, I can only ask you one favor. One, that you sing along so we can hear you, and two I want every single person in here to get their phone light out so we can see. I want her to see that tonight,” adding, “So, Addi, this one goes out to you, your favorite song, one of my favorite songs.”

Clint Black will once again be joined by his wife Lisa Hartman-Black and 21-year-old daughter Lily Pearl Black, for another leg of his “Mostly Hits & The Mrs” tour, which initially began last year.

The new trek kicks off November 17^th in Burnsville, Minnesota, and runs until February 5^th in Pensacola, Florida.

“Having my family on the road is the best,” Clint shares, “and the reactions have been everything we hoped they would be!”

Garth Brooks announced he’d be dropping the next installment in his “Anthology” series this November. Well, now he’s revealed the cover of the release, as well as the exact date we’ll get it.

“Anthology Part II, The Next Five Years” is set to drop November 15^th (just in time for Christmas shopping), with the new cover featuring a silhouette of Garth’s face with the American flag across it.

The new set will cover the years 1996 to 2001, which includes stories about the albums “Fresh Horses,” “Sevens,” “The Limited Series,” “Double Live” and “Scarecrow.” It will also feature a six disc set of highlights from the albums.

The anthology includes excerpts from stars like Bob Dylan, Keith Urban, Steve Wariner and more, with Garth noting, “I learned a lot,” adding, “The interviews just floored me.”

Wife Trisha Yearwood adds, “The way I see it, Garth spent the first five years of that crazy ride just hanging on for dear life! In the second five years, you start to see a captain steering his own ship.”
