Ella Langley Spends Some Of That Country Star Money On A New House
Ever wonder what you’d do with a sudden big chunk of money? We’re seeing that scenario play out with Ella Langley, who’s income has risen astronomically in the last few years thanks to her career exploding. The singer purchased a lakefront home in her home state of Alabama, near where her parents live. Langley says the property will serve as a safe space when she needs a break from her “rock star” life in Tennessee. “It just brings me back to who I am at the root of me every time I go back there. And when it comes to writing songs and being in that state of mind, I think it’s important to have a place like that,” she explained. That’s not been her only expenditure, however. She splurged on a July 4th Hawaii getaway for her and her sister, and is sinking money back into her career, hoping to add another band-member and her own tour bus.

Johnny Cash Honored With Vinyl Of Remastered Rare Recordings
Sun Records and McIntosh have teamed up to honor the legacy of Johnny Cash through the release of an 18-track vinyl release of remastered and rarely heard recordings.
Dubbed McIntosh Sessions Volume 2: Pure Johnny Cash, the reworked tracks include “Train of Love,” “Ballad of a Teenage Queen,” “I Walk the Line” and many more.
“Sam Phillips had a way of capturing lightning in a bottle, and these early recordings of Johnny Cash perfectly exemplify that,” says Chase Gregory, Senior Director A&R + Sync, Sun Records. “Remastering them in high fidelity is a way of honoring that legacy with the care it deserves. This album is a glimpse into the recording session, as everything you hear was performed in one take with no overdubs. The result is a powerfully authentic, yet refined listening experience, that reminds us just how revolutionary Cash was from the very beginning.”
As part of the collaboration, McIntosh and Sun Records produced a limited-edition Sun Records MTI100 Integrated Turntable that combines a turntable, amplifier and preamplifier into one, Bluetooth-friendly design. More information on the vinyl and turntable is available here.

Post Malone Tips So Much The Entire Bar Staff “Can Pay Their Bills This Month”
You have to know by now that when Post Malone walks into a bar or restaurant, the staff perks up. It doesn’t always happen, but Posty does have a habit of tipping really well. When his current tour stopped in Glendale, Arizona, Post took in some of the local nightlife at a watering hole. It wasn’t just a pop-in, either; the singer stayed until 2AM closing time. The staff said he couldn’t have been nicer, and that’s before he dropped a massive tip for everyone working. While the exact amount wasn’t disclosed, one employee told the local news outlet, “I don’t wanna throw out a figure, but there were about 15 people on staff that night, and everyone can pay their bills this month.” See the news item about Post Malone’s bar visit to the right.
- In other Post Malone news, the singer is single once again. “TMZ” is reporting that Posty and his most recent GF, Christy Lee, are no longer together. Sources told the outlet the former couple called it quits a little under a month ago after being together romantically since the start of the year.
