He also gets along great with everyone and other animals. (even dogs!) Sandler’s a little unique in that he only has 3 legs, but that doesn’t deter him at all. Sandler is fully vetted, vaccinated and would love to meet you!

REMEMBER WHEN TAYLOR SWIFT WAS A BACKUP SINGER FOR BRAD PAISLEY?

We all have to start somewhere. Does anyone remember when Taylor Swift was a backup singer/dancer for Brad Paisley? Anyone? Well, Brad does – and he reminded Taylor and the world about it yesterday.

December 13 is Taylor’s birthday, and as a shoutout on her special day, Brad posted a Tik Tok and tagged her in it. The video was of actor Jason Alexander (as Paisley) on stage for Brad’s hit “Online.” Alongside him, singing and dancing, were Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift.

Brad and Taylor go way back, with Taylor opening for Brad on his 2007 “Bonfires and Amplifiers” tour. And while Taylor never was actually a backup singer for Brad, she did play one in the music video. Brad captioned the Tik Tok, “”Happy Birthday Taylor Swift! Thanks for being a background singer in one of my music videos all those years ago!”

GWEN STEFANI, BLAKE SHELTON TO GO ITALIAN FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER

Christmas traditions vary from family to family. You’d guess that in the Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani household, Blake would be the uber-traditional type while Gwen may go in another direction. You’d be half right. Outside a taping of “The Voice” this week, Gwen told “Entertainment Tonight” that she was in fact brought up in a very traditional household, and that informs how she and her husband have developed their own Christmas traditions.

Speaking specifically of Christmas dinner, Gwen said, “We started off by always trying to find something that wasn’t a tradition – like, let’s try something different, try something new,” she recalled of their holiday dinner routine. “We stumbled across this dish called the Timpano Dome… it’s basically like a lasagna but it’s in this dome formed either with bread or a pasta. We started doing that a few years ago and now that’s the thing, yeah.” Gwen went on to say that they put their own spin on the traditional Italian dish.

“Probably some Italians might get mad about this, because typically it would be a pasta wrapped around it, but we started doing a pizza dough because it tastes yummy,” she noted. “Maybe I’ll make the dough myself this year – which would be a lot on Christmas day… But I might actually do it the day before.” An Oklahoma country boy – going Italian for Christmas dinner? As many have said before, marriage changes a person. But we have to admit it sounds delicious.

TOBY KEITH MAKES TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO THE STAGE

Toby Keith is back. Sunday night was the start of his three-night run at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, a three-show mini-residency that puts Toby back on stage for the first time in three years in something other than a “one-off” performance. And by all accounts, Toby brought it.

In what fans on social media were calling an “electric” evening, Toby was first introduced to the stage by good friend Sammy Hagar. Then, the party was on, with the Big Dog Daddy playing over two hours of hits and some cuts that the singer said “should have been singles.” Trace Adkins came out at one point to duet with Toby, and as Toby himself said on social media after the show, “It was a triumphant return. One hell of a night in Vegas. Ready to do it all over again tonight. #TobyInVegas.” Check out a snippet of Toby in action here.

BRAD AND KIMBERLY PAISLEY OPEN FREE TOY STORE WITH A FOCUS ON DIGNITY

For Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, material charity is just the beginning. The next step is charity of the spirit. The couple started “The Store” years ago in Nashville; instead of just a food bank where needy people get what’s handed to them, less fortunate families get to pick and choose what to bring home, thus helping them avoid the blow to the spirit having to accept charity can often bring.

This Christmas, the Paisleys have gone one step further: taking the concept of “The Store” and applying it to the holiday season. The focus is on dignity – instead of just taking what toys happen to be donated, they have opened a store where needy families can pick and choose the toys and gifts they feel would best fit their children. Once again, it takes care of the material needs – and the spiritual ones as well. “The emotional aspect of being able to give your child something your child wanted versus just something to sort of get you through the holidays, that’s such a load off the minds of somebody who maybe didn’t think they were going to be able to do that,” Paisley says.

Brad and Kimberly would like the toy store to be an annual thing, like their grocery store is, but the Paisleys say they would need the donations (of toys and money) to be consistent in order to pull this off year after year. But for Christmas 2023, a lot of families in Nashville are going to have a much better Christmas than they thought possible – thanks in large part to Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
