Luke Combs Sends Third Grade Class A Record Player And Signed Vinyl

As a musician, Luke Combs appreciates music, and understands those that do. When he caught wind of a TikTok video showing a third-grade class at Carmel Elementary in Maine listening to his music to help them focus during their writing time, the singer reached out. He sent the class and their teacher a record player, along with an autographed vinyl copy of his “The Way I Am” album. The teacher then posted a TikTok of the class singing along with their new gift.

Kenny Chesney To Get Career-Spanning Country Hall Of Fame Exhibit

Kenny Chesney is getting his own exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame. “Kenny Chesney: Living In Fast Forward” will be on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum from July 23 through June, 2027. The exhibit will feature artifacts from throughout Kenny’s life and career, including instruments, awards, photographs, handwritten materials, stage-worn clothing and personal memorabilia. Among the items on display will be Chesney’s Gibbs High School football jersey and varsity jacket, as well as the Fender Concord acoustic guitar he played during his college years at East Tennessee State University and after moving to Nashville. Admission to the exhibit is free for paying museum customers.

Jelly Roll Files For Divorce From Bunnie XO

Music’s most unlikely marriage is now heading towards its most unexpected breakup. Jelly Roll has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO“TMZ” reports that Jelly filed the papers at a Tennessee courthouse last month. It’s reported the divorce was a mutual decision and a “private family matter.” The two have had a tumultuous relationship; they met in 2015 at one of Jelly Roll’s early shows when he was a struggling musician; Bunnie was working as a high-end escort at the time. After a year of dating, they married, though briefly split two years later after the singer had an affair. Jelly Roll has two children from previous relationships: 18 year-old Bailee Ann, for whom Bunnie is a stepmother, and 9 year-old Noah, who still lives with his biological mother though is also close with Bunnie.

“TMZ” also reports that, just as the news has gone public, things are moving quickly. Photographers snapped pics of a huge moving van parked in front of the couple’s Tennessee house yesterday, though it’s not clear who’s leaving and who’s staying. And, just hours before the news broke last night, Bunnie posted a cryptic message about “getting her sparkle back” alongside a lingerie pic on her Instagram Stories.

CMA Fest TV Special Performer Lineup Announced

The highlights of CMA Fest are coming to TV, and the lineup for the three hour special has been announced. Hosted by Riley Green alongside “Good Morning America” co-host Lara Spencer, the glimpse at what was this year’s CMA Fest will feature performances and appearances by Bailey Zimmerman, Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Brothers Osborne, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Deana Carter, Ella Langley, Fetty Wap, Florida Georgia Line, Gretchen Wilson, HARDY, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Michael McDonald, Molly Tuttle, The Red Clay Strays, Ricky Skaggs, Riley Green, Russell Dickerson, Shaboozey, Shay Morgan, Stephen Wilson Jr., Tim McGraw, Tucker Wetmore and Zach Top. “CMA Fest presented by SoFi” will air Thursday, June 25 at 8/7c on ABC and will stream the next day on Hulu.

Carrie Underwood Surprises Fans At Nashville Farmers Market

You go to the farmer’s market, you expect to find fresh, locally grown produce, some good food…what you don’t expect to find is a country star. Earlier this week, surprised fans ran into Carrie Underwood at Nashville’s 12 South Farmers Market as she paid a visit to the HiNote pop-up truck where she met with market patrons, served up some samples of HiNote Everyday Energy Daily Nutrition Mix, and even posed for photos. HiNote is Carrie’s new brand, that hopes to help women prioritize their health “with practical tools that fit into everyday life.”

  • Today in 2000, Trace Adkins appeared on the Lifetime TV series, “The Things We Do For Love.” A young woman had written to the series explaining that her grandmother’s greatest wish was to see the Grand Ole Opry. The cable channel decided to grant the wish and flew the grandmother into Nashville from California and the granddaughter from Washington, D.C. During the program, Trace greeted the two women at the Opry and presented the grandmother with a corsage before giving them a backstage tour before the Opry performance began.
  • Today in 2001, Travis Tritt officially began going “down” his road as his home state of Georgia officially re-named a three-mile section of Highway 92 “Travis Tritt Highway.” But that’s not all – as of this day, Paulding County signs also read “Home of Country Music Star Travis Tritt.”
  • Today in 2002, Alan Jackson had some “Down Under” success to celebrate. His “Drive” album, which had already been certified double platinum here in the United States, went gold in Australia.
