NO, REBA’S NOT LEAVING “THE VOICE”

The internet is an amazing place where literally the wealth of human knowledge is just a few clicks away – but with that, people run the risk of coming across information that may not be 100-percent factual. Reba McEntire had to address just such a situation over the weekend.

In an Instagram post, the singer and “The Voice” coach dealt with just such a situation head-on. She posted a screenshot of an article claiming she was leaving the hit singing competition. Reba reposted the article (which you can see below), with a big red “FALSE” stamped across it.

“Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving The Voice. This is not true. These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false. I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product. Please report these posts if you see them on Facebook or Instagram.”

Reba’s not the only country star having to deal with this situation. In the past, Lainey WilsonDolly Parton and Trisha Yearwood are a few others who have had to tell fans that scammers using their names and likeness are hawking weight-loss gummies without their consent.
