JELLY ROLL, CRAIG MORGAN DO “ALMOST HOME” ON “KELLY CLARKSON SHOW”

Friday was Veterans Day, and “The Kelly Clarkson Show” did a special episode dedicated to the holiday. As part of that, she featured a video of one veteran performing a song for an enthusiastic crowd at the Grand Ole Opry.

Of course, that veteran was Craig Morgan, who performed his hit “Almost Home” in front of a packed house recently. The crowd loved it, and loved it even more when Morgan was joined for the second verse by none other than Jelly Roll.

Jelly, who appears on the re-recorded version of the song on Morgan’s recently released “Enlisted” EP, has often cited the tune as an inspiration to him – especially when he was behind bars. With JR’s help, the 2003 hit has achieved new fame 20 years later.
