Miranda Lambert‘s 2022 album “Palomino” was highly acclaimed, making many end-of-year lists including the LA Times and Rolling Stone. Despite this, the album spawned only two singles and just one hit at country radio, the Top Ten “If I Was A Cowboy.” While the album may not have made a huge splash on the singles charts, the songs on it have been well-received in concert, with some becoming fan favorites. One such song is “Carousel.”

Miranda performed the song at the 58th Annual ACM Awards back in May, and of course the crowd went wild. Seeing how the tune has landed with fans may have encouraged Miranda’s most recent move, taking that live ACM performance and making it an official release, which she did Friday.
