While the 55th Annual ACM Awards aren’t scheduled to take place until September, the Academy of Country Music is already making plans for 2021. The organization just announced that the 56th Annual ACM Awards will air Sunday, April 18th, 2021 on CBS. Details on host, location and performers will be announced at a later date.

As for this year’s show, after April’s show in Las Vegas was postponed due to the coronavirus, the award ceremony was moved September 16th, and will air from Nashville for the first time in the show’s history.

Hosted by Keith Urban, the show will broadcast from three historic locations, including the Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe.
