Fairfield Man Arrested for Burglary

FAIRFIELD – A Fairfield man is in custody after an investigation into a burglary that occurred at a business earlier this month.

The Fairfield Police Department says that the burglary was reported by a business in the 600 block of West Stone Avenue on August 6 at approximately 10:27 AM. When officers arrived at the business, they met with the property owner and found out that someone had unlawfully entered the building sometime during the previous night. It was discovered that numerous items had been removed from the building, with several of them being recovered later near the property.

During their investigation, officers identified 47-year-old Gregory Scott Robinson as the suspect in the burglary case. A warrant was subsequently issued for Robinson’s arrest and officers had been actively attempting to locate him until the evening of Tuesday, August 25, when law enforcement officers located Robinson and took him into custody.
