Lainey Wilson is proving girls can do anything as good as the boys can, and sometimes better. Her recent performance at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand broke Chris Stapleton’s previous attendance record, set in 2021. For the last five years, Stapleton held the record, drawing 17,320 fans to his concert. Wilson’s show Sunday evening drew 17,360, edging out Stapleton by 40 fans, and setting a new high water mark for the event.
