Dolly Parton is bringing back one of her oldest hits in a new version that will feature guest vocals by a number of big names. The re-recording of her 1977 country smash “The Light of a Clear Blue Morning” will feature Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire. The reason for revisiting the classic: proceeds from the recording and music video will benefit pediatric cancer research at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. The song comes out Friday.
