CHRIS YOUNG PLAYS, BUT OFFERS REFUNDS ANYWAY

Chris Young Plays, But Offers Refunds Anyway

Tell your country hater friends that you just don’t hear artists in other genres doing this. Chris Young is the latest country singer (following Zach TopDarius Rucker and Luke Combs, among others) who were not satisfied with the way a performance went. Young’s “It Must Be Christmas Acoustic Tour” came to Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin on Saturday night. While on the surface it seems like a great setup for a holiday concert, a major snowstorm also hit the area, making it difficult for many fans to come out to the show. Some did, and Chris performed for those that braved the conditions, but at the same time, he felt it was less than what he wanted to deliver, for less people than he wanted to play for. Solution? He informed fans on social media that he refused to take a paycheck that night, allowing all ticket holders to get a complete refund. “I waived my fee for this show so all tickets can be refunded. I have instructed the venue to refund tickets to the point of purchase, whether you were there or not,” the singer wrote.
