OSKALOOSA — Oskaloosa Main Street’s 39th annual Sweet Corn Serenade is set to take place today in the Oskaloosa city square.

The long-time favorite community event brings over 3,000 people to downtown Oskaloosa for fresh-cooked sweet corn and live music. Today’s festival runs from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

The craft and vendor fair will run for the duration of the Sweet Corn Serenade, and food vendors will be set up around the square for the length of the event as well.

Hamburgers, sweet corn, beverages, and pie will be served beginning at 4:00 PM and will continue being served until 9:00 PM or until supplies run out. These can be purchased using cash or Venmo only.

Kids’ activities will be available from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM; those include the Farm Bureau Kids’ Zone, the Pedal Pull, and the ISU Story Walk.

This year’s live music performances include a concert from The Boys Duo, which will take place from 4:30 – 7:30 PM, and a concert from the Oskaloosa City Band, which will go from 8:00 – 9:00 PM.
