Brantley Gilbert and his wife Amber are expecting their first child! The couple announced the news on Tuesday (5/16), revealing to People that their baby is due on November 17. The couple had been trying for a baby since they got married in June of 2015 and were seeing a fertility specialist to see what they could do. The couple was told it would be close to a miracle if Amber got pregnant without in vitro fertilization (IVF), but she was hesitant to start the process.

The couple decided to wait to see what would happen, and in February, Amber surprised Brantley with the news on his tour bus before a show in Louisville. Gilbert says his wife handed him a box containing three positive pregnancy tests, which surprised him to say the least. He said, “I think I stared at it for at least two minutes without saying anything because I was literally in shock. We’d been told it was just not in the cards, and I’m staring at this answer to many, many, many prayers.”

·         The couple will find out the baby’s sex at a gender reveal party in two weeks.
