PELLA—In conjunction with Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the Central College Student-Athlete Advisory Council will sponsor a canned food drive Wednesday at the Dutch basketball games.

Non-perishable items and monetary donations will be accepted from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will support Pella and the surrounding communities’ food shelves. The Big Red Radio from KNIA/KRLS will be set up outside of P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium to accept the donations.

The Dutch basketball squads will take on Iowa Wesleyan at 6 and 8 p.m., with both looking to improve to 2-0 this season.
