Four more Iowans have died from coronavirus.  The Iowa Department of Public health says as of Wednesday (4/15), 53 Iowans have died from the virus.

Another 96 new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed, for a statewide total of 1995. Two of those new cases are from Mahaska County and two are in Jasper County.  Mahaska County’s total for the pandemic now stands at seven, with no deaths; while Jasper County has had 17 coronavirus cases with no deaths.

Governor Kim Reynolds also says 407 additional Iowans have tested negative for COVID-19 and 908 people have recovered from the virus.
