The murder trial for the man accused of murdering Mollie Tibbets of Brooklyn will now start September 29 in Sioux City.  Cristhian Bahena Rivera is accused of killing the 20-year-old University of Iowa student in July 2018.  Tibbetts’ body was found a month later in a cornfield near Brooklyn.  The trial was moved back after defense attorneys said Rivera’s confession to law enforcement was unreliable.  The district court judge suppressed part of Rivera’s confession.
