Two men were injured Monday afternoon (1/20) in a collision on Oskaloosa’s north side involving two semis and a car. The Iowa State Patrol says 54-year-old John Grahek of Oskaloosa was northbound on Highway 63, waiting to turn west onto Lynndale Road around 12:30pm, when a semi driven by 45-year-old Tony Raske of Alden approached from behind at a high rate of speed, hitting Grahek’s car and sending it into the southbound lane of 63, where it struck a semi driven by 26-year-old Mitch Huffman of Council Bluffs. Grahek and Huffman were both taken to Mahaska Health with injuries; Raske was not injured. The accident is still being investigated.
