Five people are in custody accused of a burglary at an Oskaloosa business. Last Sunday, September 9th, a burglary was reported at Van Wall Equipment. It was determined that nearly $17,000 worth of items was taken along with a truck. Oskaloosa Police say they have arrested and charged 35-year-old David Wayne Dobson of Oskaloosa and 39-year-old Jesse Robert Parkin both for one count of third degree burglary and two counts of first degree theft. 31-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Merchant, 35-year-old Jeremy Alan Merchant, both of Oskaloosa and 25-year-old Jesse James Burtlow of Oskaloosa and Ottumwa have all been charged with first degree theft—possession of stolen property.
