OSKALOOSA — Mahaska Health welcomed Bryce Bucklew, DPM, to its Podiatry team, expanding access to comprehensive foot and ankle care for patients in Oskaloosa and southeast Iowa.

Dr. Bucklew earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at University Health Lakewood in Kansas City, Missouri, where he gained extensive experience treating a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions and served as Co-Chief Resident.

Joining Mahaska Health podiatry specialists Dr. Mark Beers and Dr. Alyssa Zacharjasz, Dr. Bucklew provides both surgical and non-surgical treatment for foot and ankle conditions, with experience in reconstructive surgery and lower extremity wound care. He takes a comprehensive approach to podiatry, developing individualized treatment plans with each patient’s goals and lifestyle in mind.

Growing up in rural Iowa shaped Dr. Bucklew’s appreciation for the role local healthcare plays in a community. At Mahaska Health, he looks forward to investing in the health of his patients and providing individualized podiatry care.
