Crude Oil Summary

- As of Wednesday, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $4.34 across Iowa according to AAA.
- Prices rose 23 cents from last week’s price and are up $1.42 from a year ago.
- The national average on Wednesday was $4.74, up 38 cents from last week’s price.
- Retail diesel prices in Iowa rose 16 cents this week with a statewide average of $6.28.
- One year ago, diesel prices averaged $3.51 in Iowa.
- The current Iowa diesel price is 24 cents lower than the national average of $6.52.
- The current Des Moines Terminal/Rack Prices are $3.33 for U87-E10, $4.29 for Unleaded 87 (clear), $5.11 for ULSD#2, $5.38 for ULSD#1, and $2.71 per gallon for E-70 prices.
