Oskaloosa School Resource Officer Logan Nord Achieves “Practitioner” Status through NASRO

OSKALOOSA – The Oskaloosa Police Department recognized School Resource Officer Logan Nord for achieving “Practitioner” status through the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) this week.

The designation recognizes officers who have demonstrated a significant commitment to school-based policing through experience, advanced training, professional development, and leadership in this specialized area of law enforcement. Earning the distinction requires extensive training beyond the basic SRO curriculum, including advanced NASRO training and substantial additional education related to school safety and working with youth.

The Oskaloosa Police Department said that Officer Nord “continues to seek opportunities to strengthen our SRO program, enhance school safety, and build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.”
